Bauer Radiator was established as a two man shop in 1945 by Vern Bauer. In the early 1970’s, William O’Brien purchased the Buffalo, NY, based company and started on a growth path even he couldn’t have seen.  With smart purchasing and reinvestment, Bauer was to become a premier auto parts distributor.  Bauer contributes its success to good cost control and a large appetite for increasing sales.  “We provide product to down home businesses who really know their market needs.” As Bauer has raised it’s level of availability to our eastern seaboard and central United States customers, they have responded well.

We now have distribution warehousing in Michigan, Indiana, New York, Massachusetts and North Carolina and soon to expand in other areas that we can only see as a growth for our future. Currently servicing customers from 6 regional facilities, 50 delivery vehicles and over 100 employees, we provide customers with same day or next day service to 19 states. We expect to expand our service in the next year to 24 states. 

As the new millennium has come upon us, with new people and their potential in the company, we heighten our new goals to provide our customers. We will also continue to do so with the same values and morals to our customers as we have in the past.
